Gainesville JV Baseball With Big Win Over West Hall

In the final game of the Hall County Baseball Championship today Gainesville faced West Hall. Gainesville scored in the first inning and so did West Hall. West Hall led 1-2 after the first. Gainesville got 4 runs in the second to take a 5-2 lead. Gainesville again scored in the fourth to lead 8-2. The score remained 8-2 through the next two innings. In the top of the seventh Gainesville put up 5 more runs to win with convincing 13-2 to claim the Hall County Baseball Crown. For Gainesville Grady Vardeman pitched the first two innings and Harris Bell came and pitched 5 innings and got the win for Big Red! Gainesville ended with 13 runs on 17 hits and had 8 RBI’s. Congratulations gentlemen on the win and the Hall County Championship! Go Big Red!!!
