Wrestling fans will be out in force tonight and tomorrow in Chestatee. That is where the Hall County Championships will take place. Wrestlers at home Tuesday night win Quad

Big Red wrestling team defeated Dawson, Johnson, Cedar Shoals, and Rabun Gap in a Quad wrestling meet last night. Anthony Costantini won his 15 match and is now 15-0. Congratulations GHS Wrestlers. Go Big Red!

Two wrestlers place in the Panther Invitational

Terrell Knight in the 170 pound class placed 4th today at the Panther. Anthony Constatini won his weight class at 195. Gainesville Girls basketball defeated Loganville 46-44 in action last night. At the end of the first halfGHS held a 3 point lead 23-20. The third period had the Red Elephants leading 35-27. At the end of the game GHS came away with a 2 point victory 46-44. The ladies will travel to Athens Tuesday night

Red Elephant Boys Defeat Loganville

Gainesville boys basketball won big against Loganville with a 70-39 victory. Scoring leaders for the Red Elephants were KJ Buffen with 14, D’Marcus Simonds with 12. In total 12 different Red Elephants scored in the victory. Gainesville will take on Cedar Shoals Tuesday in Athens with both teams listed in the top 10.
