Victory in Region play today

Lady Red Elephant Volleyball team won both region matches today. In the first match against Loganville the Lady Elephants came back to win 23-25,25-20, 25-17. In the second match vs Flowery Branch the Lady Elephants swept 29-27 and 25-23. Sydney King had 25 digs and 7 assists. Caroline Mercer had 15 digs and 4 aces.

Football Friday night GHS vs Grayson

The Red Elephants played hard but fell to Grayson 34 – 0. Grayson is expected to compete for a state championship in 6A again this year. The Red Elephants are expected to make a run in 5A and after tonights contest both those things should prevail. Another plus for GHS, next week is a off

Red Elephant Cheerleaders are busy setting the mood at Bobby Gruhn Field. Under the supervision of their coach Ms Perry, cheerleaders are  placing banners along the fence line and preparing for the Elephant Walk tonight.
