Gainesville Baseball On The Road To Madison County

The Red Elephants traveled to Madison County today in the first of a double header which will finish tomorrow at Ivey-Watson. Gainesville’s starting pitcher was Collier Scott. Baseball Home Opener Ends In A Win

The Red Elephants started the season with a home opener victory over Forsyth Central today. Throwing out the first pitch tonight was Beth Morris the retiring Parks and Recreation Director. Scoring two runs in the first inning Gainesville never looked back scoring one in the fourth and then three in the sixth to win 6-0.

Recruiting Seminar and Free Physical For GCSS Athletes

AD Billy Kirk announced today that there will be a Recruiting Seminar by Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) and free physicals before the seminar by Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG). Gainesville’s Sam Carpenter leads the way for Red Elephants on the All-Region 8AAAAA Baseball Team. Carpenter was named to first team pitcher along with teammate Collier Scott.
